Viva Latino Calgary 2025
Calgary’s Viva Latino! Festival is a one-day cultural event celebrating the vibrant traditions, music, dance, cuisine, and diversity of Latin America, while highlighting Calgary’s growing Latino community. It brings together local residents and visitors for a memorable experience filled with energy, connection, and cultural discovery.
In 2025, the festival will introduce the magic of Mexican culture like never before, featuring the renowned Guelaguetza Festival, which showcases the rich traditions of eight Mixtec regions from Oaxaca, Mexico. The celebration will also include the exciting Charro-Jaripeo Spectacle, complete with a floreo de reata (rope artistry) accompanied by live mariachi music, offering an authentic glimpse of Jalisco’s cultural spirit — along with many more surprises throughout the day.

Folkloric Ballet

Each performance is a journey through Oaxaca’s diverse indigenous traditions, featuring dances that celebrate love, community, and ancient rituals.
Mariachi Mi Ranchito
Bringing the soul of Mexico to the stage, Mariachi Mi Ranchito delivers an unforgettable performance filled with powerful vocals, vibrant harmonies, and traditional Mexican instrumentation. Dressed in classic charro suits, their music captures the heart of mariachi culture with passion and pride.
